Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Basildon is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join their team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines while ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing precision parts. The role includes working in a 3-shift rotation with a full-time, permanent contract that offers an attractive salary, shift allowance, and comprehensive benefits such as pension and private medical healthcare. Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience working to high quality standards on precision components.
• Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures.
• Time served and/or demonstrable relevant experience.

HR & Recruitment Coordinator @ Walker Group

Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking CNC Operators to join our team in Basildon.

You will be responsible for manufacturing high precision parts on mainly 4 and 5 axis milling and turn/ mill CNC machines, as well as general machining tasks.

CNC Operator Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operation of various multi axis CNC machines.
• Inspect parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with drawings.
• Carefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. This includes company procedures, operating standards, and production methods.
• Maintain an accurate log of any production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
• Maximise machine uptime through preventative measures (TPM).
• Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
• Flexibility to support production requirements
• Work appropriately with other Teams Members

CNC Operator Skills & Behaviours:

• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality work that is manufactured to closely controlled specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

CNC Operator Skills & Experience:
