We are recruiting for a skilled CNC Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, with over 60 years of industry expertise.

CNC Operator - Position Overview

• Operate and maintain Doosan CNC lathe machinery to produce high-precision blow mould components
• Set up machines in accordance with job specifications and engineering drawings
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with engineering and tooling teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a high-performance workshop culture
• Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation as required

CNC Operator - Position Requirements

• Proven experience operating Doosan CNC lathe machinery
• Previous experience in a precision engineering or tooling/manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality control standards
• Good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy
• Capable of working independently and as part of a small, high-performing team

CNC Operator - Position Remuneration

• Salary of £32,000 - £35,000, depending on experience (Overtime available, paid at time and a half)
• Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 shift pattern
• 20 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays
