Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Operative to join our in-house machine shop at Aflex, UK. The role focuses on setting and operating CNC machines, editing Fanuc programs, and maintaining high standards across shifts within a world-class manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC experience, the ability to read engineering drawings, and proficiency with measuring equipment, especially with stainless steel materials.

Qualifications

• Worked in similar environment / Industry.
• Be able to use engineering measuring equipment.
• Machine experience.
• Be able to read engineering drawings.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating for CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop.
• Setting and operating of single spindle CNC Machines.
• Inspection of colleague’s and one's own work.
• Editing Fanuc controlled programs.
• Working within a team environment to achieve world class manufacturing.
• Ensure smooth transition between shifts.
• Strive to achieve improvement within the cell.
• Work to safe health and safety instructions.
