The Role

This CNC Milling Shift Supervisor vacancy is going to allow you to work within a precision manufacturing business, producing parts for some really cool industries and projects. On a daily basis you can expect to be part programming, setting and operating on 3, 4 and 5 axis mills. The work can be varied as they are a sub‑contractor, so can be anything from 1 off's to small batch runs.

You will be the 'go to' person on the shift, offering your expertise and advice to other machinists on the shopfloor. At the end of the shift, you will be the person understanding what jobs are still on the machine, what needs completing and what is top priority, to pass on to the other shift supervisor on the opposite shift pattern! This will ensure a seamless transition between the shifts and minimise downtime on the machines.

As a business they have some ambitious growth plans which the manufacturing team plays a key role of hitting those targets.
