A leading engineering recruitment firm in Aylesbury is seeking a CNC Miller (Setter or Programmer) to join an expanding precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CNC milling and be confident with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls. This role offers competitive pay ranging from £15 to £20 per hour, with plenty of overtime available. Immediate start options are also available.

Overview

Job Title: CNC Miller (Setter or Programmer)
Location: Aylesbury
Join an expanding precision engineering team, working on a diverse range of high-spec components using state-of-the-art CNC milling machines.

What they Offer

• Competitive Pay: Setter £15–£16 per hour (potentially up to £17 for strong experience); Programmer £18–£20 per hour
• Machines: 9 CNC Mills (Fanuc, Heidenhain & Siemens controls)
• Variety of 3-, 4- & 5-axis work
• Plenty of overtime available (up to 10 hours weekly) at 1.3x rate

Stable hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am–1:30pm
• Holiday: 23 days + bank holidays

Requirements

• Strong experience in CNC milling (setting and/or programming)
• Confident working with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls
• Ability to read engineering drawings and inspect own work
