Job summary

A family-run CAD/CAM tooling solutions company in Willenhall is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer. In this role, you will program and set a variety of tooling and work on cuts in different materials. Applicants should have CNC programming experience and knowledge of CAD/CAM software. The position offers a competitive pay rate of £17 to £21 per hour and immediate starts available. Qualifications

• Previous CNC programming experience.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software like Powermill or Hypermill.
• Working knowledge of CNC Milling machines.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controls.
• Experience programming offline in CAD/CAM.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and machine a variety of tooling.
• Manage own Autodesk Powermill workstation.
• Operate Vericut software to verify toolpaths.
• Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on tooling.
• Develop CNC programs from engineering drawings.

CNC Miller Programmer

Location: Willenhall
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 12:30pm Friday
Pay rate: £17 to £21 per hour - negotiable dependent upon experience
Overtime available @ time and a third
Must have the full rights to work within the UK (No sponsorship offered)

The client is a family run CAD/CAM tooling solutions company, with a rich heritage spanning over nearly 100 years! The candidate will be joining a long serving team who are passionate about providing a first-class service to their customers.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and machine a wide variety of tooling in a range of different materials such as a tooling board Spider-Man head, aluminium moulds & tools, cast-iron patterns and coreboxes
• Be responsible for own Autodesk Powermill work station
• Operate Vericut software to verify toolpaths prior to running
• Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all tooling
• Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specification
• Interpret project blueprints

Qualifications

• Previous CNC programming experience
• Experience CAD/CAM software - Powermill or Hypermill
• Working on CNC Milling machines
• Experience in Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controls (other machine models considered)
• Programming offline in CAD/CAM (Powermill desirable though other CAD/CAM systems considered)
