CNC Miller Programmer
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm

The Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3-4 axis CNC milling machines with Fusion 360 and Siemens controls, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate 3-4 axis CNC milling machines (Fusion 360 and Siemens controls).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD/CAM data.
• Produce precision components to exact specifications, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
• Work with a variety of materials for customers across multiple industries.
• Carry out first-off inspection and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to problem-solving within the workshop.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer (minimum 3-5 years in a similar role).
• Proficient in Fusion 360 and Siemens controls.
• Strong knowledge of 3-4 axis machining.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and models.
• Experience producing components for varied industries.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
