Job description

CNC Miller Programmer

Location: Coventry

Salary: £15-£17.50 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday: 6:45 am – 4:00 pm (30‑minute lunch 1:00‑1:30pm)
Friday: 6:45 am – 11:45 am
Overtime as required

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller / Programmer to join our young, dynamic team. The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery, predominantly Haas machines, in a fast‑paced, high‑accuracy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC machines.
• Offline programming (OneCNC preferred; training provided).
• Produce mainly one-off components with high attention to detail.
• Check own work using various measuring equipment (bore mic, micrometres, depth mic, etc.).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Maintain quality while working to tight deadlines.
• Uphold excellent health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Full rights to work within the UK (No sponsorship offered).
• Must have experience as a CNC Miller Programmer (2+ years).
• Haas Controls experience (essential).
• Previous experience programming from scratch.
• OneCNC experience (ideally; training can be given).
