CNC Miller (Night Shift)

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £58,400 per year (including shift premium)
Hours: 18:00 – 06:00 Monday – Thursday (Night Shift)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

You’ll be working on a range of Mazak and Matsuura 5-axis CNC machines, producing complex, high-precision components to exacting tolerances. The ideal candidate will be confident in setting, operating, and programming both at the machine and offline using CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360 and Powermill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting, operating, and programming Mazak and Matsuura 5-axis machines
  • Interpreting technical drawings and engineering models
  • Offline programming using Fusion and Powermill
  • Producing precision components for aerospace and automotive applications
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
What You’ll Need
  • Experience as a CNC Miller, ideally within precision engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Mazak and/or Matsuura 5-axis machinery
  • Ability to set, operate, and program using CAD/CAM software
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in producing top-quality work
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
