CNC Miller (Large Components / up to 13.5m and 35 tonnes)

19-21 per hour Day Shift - 39 hours + early finish Friday + 25 days holiday + Pension

24-26 per hour Afternoon Shift - 36 hours + 4 days only + 20 days holiday + Pension

Are you an experienced CNC Miller with experience of machining large components and working with large capacity machines, looking to work for a historic and successful engineering company supplying into the Oil & Gas and renewables sector?

Do you have experience with programming in Fanuc and working with large capacity machines up to 13.5 metre traverse and components up to 35 tonnes, and want to work on large and interesting short run component manufacture?

On offer is a role with a company established over 100 years offering heavy engineered components for the mining, oil & gas, and power generation industries, and who offer options on shift and pay, overtime and progression, and development.

The company offers excellent machinery and in-house facilities, and you will be working with highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

The role
  • Program, set, and operate large capacity CNC Milling machines
  • Write new programs from technical drawings and edit existing programs
  • Day shift 0645 to 1515
  • Afternoon shift 1500 to 0000
The person
  • Experience in milling large components
  • Knowledge of modern tooling and methods
