Overview

CNC Miller (Large Components / up to 13.5m and 35 tonnes)

Location: Atherton, Manchester

Salary: Day Shift £19-£21 per hour (39 hours + early finish Friday); Afternoon Shift £24-£26 per hour (36 hours + 4 days only). Benefits include Pension and 25 days holiday on day shift or 20 days holiday on afternoon shift.

Role and responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate large capacity CNC milling machines
• Write new programs from technical drawings and edit existing programs
• Work with large capacity machines up to 13.5 metre traverse and components up to 35 tonnes
• Operate in line with Fanuc programming and tooling practices

Qualifications and experience

• Experience in milling large components
• Knowledge of modern tooling and methods
• Experience programming in Fanuc
