CNC Miller - Contract

Days - Mon to Thu 8am - 5pm / Fri 8am - 4pm (earlier finish on Fridays)

Location: Northampton

Rate: £30.00 per hour (Inside IR35)

The Opportunity

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton, working on a 6 month contracting basis.

Our client is a market leading precision engineering, advanced manufacturing business that specialises in machining complex, medium sized components for highly regulated industries including Motorsport, F1 and Automotive.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities

• Setting and operating and editing multi-axis CNC Milling machines
• Machining complex, metallic, precision components for highly regulated industries such as Automotive, Motorsport, F1, Aerospace etc. within a fast paced environment
• Working from engineering drawings / 3D models

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate

• Minimum of 5 years experience setting, operating and editing 3 axis Milling machines using online controls - Fanuc
• Ability to program CNC Milling machines is preferable but not essential
• Knowledge of multi pallet or multi axis milling machines is advantageous
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Previous experience of machining complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
• Any experience of running Matsurra or Mazak Machines would be beneficial but not essential.
