A recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to program, set, and operate Hurco milling machines. Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Hurco 3 & 5 axis milling machines using WinMax.
• Manufacture one-off and small batch precision components to tight tolerances.
• Work from engineering drawings to produce parts for aerospace, oil & gas, and marine sectors.
• Conduct in-process inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machinery to ensure efficient operation.

Skills

Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator

Proficient with Hurco WinMax programming

Strong understanding of precision machining and tight tolerances

Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings

Experience producing prototype, one-off or small batch work

The Role

You'll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Hurco CNC milling machines (3 & 5 axis) using WinMax controls. This is a hands‑on role producing one‑off and small batch precision components, requiring a high level of skill, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator.
• Proficient with Hurco WinMax programming.

Package & Hours

• £30 - £35 per hour, depending on experience.
• Day shift: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
• Permanent, full‑time position with excellent working conditions and a supportive team environment.
