Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Miller for a structured training path to become a fully self-sufficient programmer on a brand-new Mazak VTC 800 5-axis machining centre. This role starts with comprehensive internal training within a sub-contracting environment dedicated to large and heavy components.

You will work day shifts on a 39-hour minimum week, with flexible start times around 6:00–8:30am; enjoy 35 holidays including public holidays, and potential overtime at 150% and 200% after

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Miller or equivalent with willingness to train on Mazak.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol or other CNC controls is advantageous.
• Able to learn new skills and integrate into the production team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the CNC milling centre on day shifts.
• Engage in internal training to become a programmer.

FULL TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT TO BECOME A PROGRAMMER ON A BRAND NEW £500K 5-AXIS MACHINE + FULLY FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS + 35 HOLIDAYS + OVERTIME AVAILABLE MOST OF THE TIME

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller to undergo comprehensive internal training to become a fully self-sufficient CNC Miller Programmer on a brand-new Mazak VTC 800 5-axis machining centre.

This sub-contract machining organisation specialises in producing large & heavy components for a number of industries. Because of continued growth and demand for their services, they purchased a brand new, cutting edge 5-axis machining centre in order to increase their machining capabilities and efficiency.

We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller who is ideally familiar with the Mazatrol control system - we still encourage you to apply if you do not have Mazatrol experience but have experience using other controls.

It is important for the successful CNC Miller to have a willing attitude towards learning new skills, techniques and processes. The employer is looking for someone who can integrate into their business and become an asset to their production team in the future.

Working Hours of the CNC Miller:

Day shifts with a 39-hour minimum weekly contract; the successful candidate will be offered flexibility around start & finish times between the below times (latest start time 8.30am):

• Monday to Thursday - 06:00 to 18:00
• Friday - 06:00 to 15:00

On offer to the successful CNC Miller:

• Starting Salary: Up to £19.00 per hour / £38,532.00 per annum (this will increase in the future)
• Holiday Entitlement: 35 days including public holidays
• Option to work regular midweek and Saturday morning overtime:
  • 150% paid between 39-48 hours worked
  • 200% paid after 48 hours worked
• Statutory Pension Scheme
