Engineering @ 365 is working with a well-established engineering manufacturer in Long Eaton, known for producing high-quality, low-volume precision components. Due to continued growth within the machine shop, the company is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator to support ongoing production demands.

Job Description

As a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components. You will work with low-volume and small-batch parts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines (HAAS experience preferred).
  • Create CNC programs, fixtures, and jigs for new components.
  • Optimise machining processes to achieve efficient and accurate production.
  • Where required, run multiple machines to support productivity.
  • Carry out detailed self-inspection using manual measuring tools.
  • Ensure all machined components meet drawing requirements and quality specifications.
  • Identify any issues affecting quality or performance and report them promptly.
