CNC Miller

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join our clients exceptional engineering team, with strong expertise in operating 3 and 5 Axis Mazak machines using Mazatrol controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and program Mazak CNC milling machines (3 & 5 Axis).
• Program using Mazatrol conversational controls.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Optimise machining processes for efficiency and tool life.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the team to solve technical issues and improve processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Miller in a precision machining environment.
• Proficient in Mazatrol programming for 3 & 5 Axis Mazak machines.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and materials.
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Experience with precision measuring and quality checks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
