Job description

Overview

CNC Miller. Salary - £16ph for Setter Operators, £19ph for Programmers. Core hours: Mon-Thurs 07:30 - 16:15 and Friday 07:30 - 12:00 (overtime offered based on current workload).

About the opportunity

As a CNC Milling Operator, you will be responsible for operating one of their many CNC machines (3 or 5 axis).

Responsibilities

• You will be expected to understand and work to the job pack provided, inclusive of offline supplied set-up sheets & programmes for specific work.
• In addition, you will also be expected to produce your own programmes where suitable.

Essentials

• Time served CNC miller
• Ability to work within a team and to tight deadlines
• Ability to read and interpret complex 3D Models & 2D drawings
• Ability to programme using 2D drawings & 3D models when supplied
• Have previous machining experience in a similar manufacturing environment using Heidenhain software.
• Experience running Doosan and Correa machines preferred but not essential.
