My client are a leading precision engineering firm specializing in high-quality machining and manufacturing solutions for the aerospace and defence industries. Permanent • Full Time • Days and Nights Available

Responsibilities
  • Skilled in machining high-integrity components across diverse materials, including Inconel nickel alloys, stainless steel, titanium, and aluminium.
  • Experienced in CNC programming, setting, operating, and proving out new machining programs.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment to maintain tight quality standards.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, accurate documentation, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Proactive in equipment maintenance, continuous improvement, and accurate time logging for productivity tracking.
Essential Experience
  • Time-served, apprenticeship-trained machinist with NVQ Level 3 or higher and 3+ years\' precision machining experience.
  • Experience running CNC Milling machines minimum 3 axis (ideally 5 axis).
  • Skilled in multiple CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol) and working to high-precision tolerances.
  • Experienced across diverse materials.
  • Worked in highly regulated sectors including Nuclear, Power Generation, and Aerospace.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
