Overview

The Company. This is an opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller to join a thriving, fast-growing and established team who have recently increased turnover by 25%, in what is a very stable industry sector with clients around the world. Not only is the work varied and technical, but there will be masses of opportunities to learn and develop.

Hours, Pay and Benefits

• A starting Salary of £34,000 - £36,000
• 37 hours per week, 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12pm finish on Friday's
• An enhanced company pension of 6.5%
• 3 x salary life assurance
• Enhanced annual leave of 34 days + Bank Holidays (average allowance is 36 days)
• Commutable From: Nottingham, Derby, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Loughborough

Essential Candidate Requirements & Role Overview

• Programming, setting and operating experience of CNC Milling machinery to produce a wide range of precision-engineered steel & aluminium components - HAAS preferred, but that isn’t essential
• An ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Self-inspection of components using manual measuring equipment
• Creation of programmes, jigs & fixtures for new components
• Apprentice trained or equivalent background in CNC milling within a production environment
