Job Description:

Role: Join a precision engineering leader supplying high-specification components to the aerospace sector. This role involves working with advanced Mill/Turn technology on challenging, small-to-medium batch work for cutting-edge customer designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines and other turning equipment to tight tolerances.
  • Develop manufacturing methods for new product introductions.
  • Work with materials including Stainless Steel, Nylon, Titanium, Inconel, and Aluminium.
  • Record accurate job timings in the ERP system.
  • Maintain 6S standards on the shop floor.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in CNC Mill/Turn machining in aerospace or similar high-precision industries.
  • Skilled in offline programming for Mill/Turn and CNC Turning machines with Fanuc controls.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances.
  • Apprentice trained or qualified by experience.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM.

This is a late shift role working Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1:30am, paying up to £23.00 per hour for the right candidate.
