CNC Mill Machinist / CNC Milling Operator / CNC Miller required to join a leading aftermarket engineering company based in Pearland, TX.

CNC Mill Machinist / CNC Milling Operator / CNC Miller will be responsible for performing a variety of precision machining operations on turbines, rotors, casings, and other large-scale components. This role will focus on both new production and repair/refurbishment work, requiring strong experience with CNC milling machines, Fanuc Controls (or equivalent), and the ability to set up, edit programs, and troubleshoot during production runs.

CNC Mill Machinist / CNC Milling Operator / CNC Miller will ideally have experience working to tight tolerances in a repair or production environment, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, G-Code, and technical drawings while ensuring compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

Role
  • Operate and monitor CNC milling machines with Fanuc Controls (or equivalent).
  • Perform precision machining operations: milling, drilling, boring, threading, and facing.
  • Machine and repair turbines, rotors, casings, and other critical rotating equipment.
  • Carry out repair machining on worn or damaged parts to restore to spec.
  • Set up machines, make program edits, adjust tooling, and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and G-Code.
  • Monitor machines, adjust feeds/speeds, and resolve machining issues to maintain quality.
  • Work to tight tolerances on large, complex components.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Uphold company safety policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years’ previous CNC machining experience (mills or large components preferred).
  • Experience machining and/or repairing turbines, rotors, or rotating equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and applying blueprints and G-Code.
  • Skilled with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
  • Ability to set up, adjust tooling, and make minor program edits independently.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
