Job description

Job Title: CNC Programmer - Mazatrol

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Oldham

Salary: £45K-£50K (Back Shift Only)

Overtime: Widely / x2

Shift Pattern: Straight Back Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm - 2:30am (Friday Off)

Specialising in the design, manufacture, and assembly of precision components for the defence sector, our client is an industry leader backed by a global group. They are now looking to add an experienced CNC Mazatrol Programmer to their growing team.

Job Description

• Programming complex components directly at the machine using Mazatrol on Mazak Integrex i200 / j200 machines
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
• Setting up tools and work holding with correct offsets
• Uploading and editing programs where needed
• Running jobs from start to finish, ensuring top-quality standards
• Working on one-off and small batch, high-precision parts

Ideal Candidate

• Have solid experience programming, setting, and operating Mazak Integrex machines using Mazatrol (Other Mazak Machine experience considered)
• Be confident working to tight tolerances in a high-precision environment
• Ideally have served an engineering apprenticeship (though experience is key)
• Be capable of working independently or as part of a small team
• Be quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
• Be flexible to support overtime as required
• Have a proactive, professional attitude with good organisational skills
