Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton is seeking skilled CNC Machinists / Aircraft Fitters to join our Continental night-shift team.

You will machine aircraft components, inspect parts for aerospace tolerances, and work with CNC and manual equipment. A full Apprenticeship in Machining or NVQ Level 3 is required; night shifts run 19:00–07:00. This is a permanent role with development opportunities within a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

• Completed a full Apprenticeship in Machining or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in hands-on fitting.
• Willingness to work continental night shift (19:00–07:00) and adhere to aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual equipment to machine aircraft components per engineering drawings and specs.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and aerospace tolerances.
• Perform hands-on fitting tasks as required to assemble and fit components.

Hours of work are:

Nights 3 on 4 off - 19:00pm-07:00am

We are in the search for Skilled CNC Machinists/ Aircraft Fitters to join Airbus’ dynamic team, based at the prestigious Broughton site, a world leader in wing production.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Precision machine aircraft components from various materials using CNC and manual equipment, adhering to engineering drawings and specifications

• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with strict aerospace standards and tolerances

• Hands on approach to manual operations

ABOUT YOU

• Successful candidates must have completed a full Apprenticeship in Machining / an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).

• Experience in hands on fitting
