Overview

CNC Machinist - Setter / Operator
Location: Brackmills, Northampton

Turbo Technics is a precision engineering company with over 40 years of experience in the turbocharger industry. We are looking for a new team member to join our busy machine shop.

Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating a variety of CNC machines
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Producing parts safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, plastics, and nickel iron
  • Inspecting parts using micrometers, verniers, and other measuring equipment
  • Following all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Ideally 3+ years' experience in a similar CNC role (training will be provided)
  • Logical and organised, with good attention to detail
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and use your initiative
Hours & Benefits
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
  • Excellent rates of pay (dependent on experience)
  • Attendance bonus scheme
  • Holidays: 23 days + 8 bank holidays (rising by 1 day per year to a maximum of 26 days + bank holidays)
