Job description

My client is at the cutting edge of new technology, working in hand with a highly qualified technical design Engineering team, they have developed a range of products that have revolutionised the medical, leisure sectors. As a result of an increased leavel of business they are looking for a talented machinist to join their team working at their state of the art manufacturing facility

You should be skilled as a CNC Sliding head setter/operator. The ability to read and edit programmes is preferrable. Experience in turning would be advantageous. They require a keen eye for detail and precision. You will knowledge of modern tooling and machining techniques with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

You will be operatingdesignated machinery safely and competently, ensuring all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained. Interpreting engineering drawings, manufacturing components to set tolerances. Performing QC checks on components as required by manufacturing specifications.

Essential Qualifications/Experience

• You should have Fanuc Controls, CMM knowledge and an ability to interpret engineering drawings. A flexible mindset and experience of working with CNC programmable lathes.
