An established and growing precision engineering firm in Northern Ireland is currently recruiting a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join their night shift team. The company works across a variety of sectors, delivering high-spec components with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Role Overview for a CNC Machinist:
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC machines using Fanuc controls. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high production standards while working independently on the night shift.

Hours

Hours Flexible start and Finish Times Open to Negotiation - 40 Hour Week

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist:

Set, operate, and program CNC machines (Fanuc controls).

Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings.

Carry out first-off inspections and ensure component quality throughout production.

Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to optimize efficiency and output.

Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a tidy workspace.

Record production data and report any issues or downtime.

Requirements of a CNC Machinist:

Proven experience in CNC setting, operating, and programming – ideally with Fanuc controls.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.

Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Experience in a night shift or lone-working environment is advantageous.
