Job summary

Solutions Limited in Birmingham is seeking a time-served CNC machinist/turner for a busy cell role. You will work on CNC turning, undertaking re-engineering tasks and improving setups to deliver varied components.

Typical hours are 7:30am–4pm, with overtime on Saturdays and Sundays and a weekly call-out rotation. Full training on programming systems is provided to support your development and progression within a national engineering group.

Qualifications

• Time served Machinist or Turner required.
• Experience with CNC turning and re-engineering work preferred.
• Full training on programming systems provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes in a busy cell, producing varied parts.
• Engage in re-engineering work and setup improvements.
• Evening/weekend overtime available and call-out rotation.

Are you a time served Machinist or Turner who wants plenty of earning potential?

Does a company offering overtime in the week and weekends including double time on Sundays, plus double time on call out appeal? Does training on programming of different systems, miller training and paid professional courses to support your development take your fancy?

The company are a multi-site national Engineering organisation involved in the fabrication and machining industry and work on behalf of multiple blue chip and specialist companies. They have a track record of developing people within their group and due to growth are seeking to expand their team.

The role involves CNC work on lathes are part of a busy cell team. This role is about variety and instead of repetitive work producing large volumes of the same part it involves working on different products and projects for the company.

Full training on programming systems is provided.

The Role:

• Time Served Machinist / CNC Turner
• Re-Engineering work
• 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, but overtime on Saturdays and Sundays always available
• Call out 1 week in 5
• Night Shift available alternatively
