E3 Recruitment are recruiting CNC Machinists for a long-established UK engineering group supplying Rail, Defence and Nuclear sectors. The role offers a 4-day working week, 40 hours, and overtime on Fridays with 150% pay.

Starting salary £38,480, rising to £42,640, plus 33 holidays and a statutory pension. Ideal candidates will have formal qualifications or be able to demonstrate a strong, relevant experience as Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator, with the ability to program or edit programs

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Machining or qualified by experience will be considered.
• Strong experience in Miller/Turner/Programmer/Setter/Operator roles and a stable career history.
• Ability to program or edit CNC programs across machine controls (Fanuc, HAAS, Heidenhain, Siemens, Hurco, ProtoTrak, Mazatrol).
• Desirable: experience on Mill-Turn machining centres.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Program or edit CNC programs across multiple controls.
• Maintain quality and ensure on-time delivery of components.
• Work within a 4-day, 40-hour week with paid breaks and overtime on Fridays.
