Job description
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, including mill/turn and multi-axis equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support NPI projects, helping to refine and optimise new components.
  • Conduct first-off inspections and complete all necessary quality and process documentation.
  • Machine precision components to exacting tolerances within an aerospace production environment.
Skills and Experience
  • Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience operating CNC machinery (Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, Puma, or similar).
  • Strong background in precision engineering or manufacturing; aerospace experience is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and inspection techniques.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
