Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, including mill/turn and multi-axis equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support NPI projects, helping to refine and optimise new components.
- Conduct first-off inspections and complete all necessary quality and process documentation.
- Machine precision components to exacting tolerances within an aerospace production environment.
Skills and Experience
- Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience operating CNC machinery (Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, Puma, or similar).
- Strong background in precision engineering or manufacturing; aerospace experience is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and inspection techniques.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
