Job summary

A UK manufacturing company based in Wales is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC programming and manual machining, including operating lathes and milling machines. Familiarity with Fusion 360 or Solid Works is advantageous. Job description

Axium Process specialises in the fabrication and supply of stainless steel pipework and membrane separation systems, for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, dairy, chemical, cosmetic and toiletries industries. Currently employing around 60 personnel and manufacturing from a 30,000 ft² facility based on the Hendy Industrial Estate, Swansea. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation with the objective to be number one in its market.

Key Responsibilities / Skills:
  • CNC programming experience is essential.
  • Must be experienced in manual machining – lathes, milling machines, drills, saw.
  • Must versatile and flexible, willing to use CNC and manual machines.
  • Fusion 360/Solid Works software experience.
  • Must have the ability to create CNC machining programs from drawing.
  • Experience programming Doosan CNC machines would be an advantage.
  • CNC turning and milling experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy to required tolerances, drawings, and specifications.
  • Must adhere to good safety practice consistently.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must have a flexible approach to work.
