Job description

Alliance Personnel are currently seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operative to join one of their clients based in Birmingham.

You will be responsible for setting up and managing our Mazak and Emco 3-axis turning CNC machines to accurately produce different types of wedding ring profiles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Mazak and Emco 3-axis turning CNC machines to produce wedding ring profiles.
• Supervise the machines to ensure operations are carried out correctly and make necessary adjustments as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines would be desirable.
• Good manual dexterity and eye-to-hand coordination, as you will be working with small tolerances and setting tools, with good attention to detail.
• The ability to cope with pressure and work to deadlines, and use initiative to work independently.
• Team spirit - you'll need to be prepared to get involved in whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Proficiency in CNC operation with experience in milling and fabrication processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
• Competence in basic mathematics for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm (37.5hrs per week)
