CNC Machinists (Late Shift) – Heidenhain & Mazak | Havant | 20% Shift Uplift

We’re currently supporting a global engineering organisation in the recruitment of four experienced CNC Machinists to join their expanding team in Havant, UK. These are late shift roles with a generous 20% shift uplift, offering long-term stability and the chance to work on complex, high-spec components in a clean, safety-focused environment.

There are two positions available for CNC Milling Machinists (Heidenhain) and two for CNC Machinists with Mazak experience.

• Mon–Thurs: 14:30 to 22:30 (½ hour lunch)
• Fri: 12:30 to 20:00
• Extensive experience operating and programming Heidenhain-controlled CNC milling machines
• Apprentice trained or time-served in a similar precision engineering environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Familiarity with castings and metals including Inconel, Aluminium Bronze, Cast Iron, Duplex, and Stainless Steel
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing / CI / 5S principles

CNC Machinist (Mazak) – Key Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Mazak machines, including Mazatrol and ISO (G-code)
• Ability to read and interpret CNC code and engineering drawings
• Milling and turning experience preferred
• Offline programming (Edgecam / Mastercam / Mazatrol) is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to quality

For Both Roles:

• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive work ethic
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety and 5S working practices
• Willingness to support skills-flex training and continuous improvement
