My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, has a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Operator with experience in CNC milling or CNC turning.

The Job:

• Set and edit programmes using Fanuc controls.
• Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques.
• Confident CNC Miller or CNC turning.
• Training and progression offered.

About you:

• Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerances.
• Experience of operating, setting up and editing of milling machines.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
• Experience of CNC milling machines. Tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage.
• Flexible to work rotating day shifts.
• Willing to work overtime as and when required.
