CNC Machinist (Milling & Turning) – Multiple UK Locations

Are you an experienced CNC professional looking for a stable, rewarding role with a growing precision engineering firm? We are a specialist manufacturing company seeking skilled Machinists to join our teams across two sites in the East of England.

The Roles Available
  • Site 1 – Near Bedford/Cambridge – CNC Miller and CNC Turner – SG
  • Site 2 – Near Peterborough/Ely – CNC Miller – PE
What We Are Looking For

We are flexible and open to various levels of experience, provided you have a strong foundation in CNC machining and a desire to excel:

  • Ideal Candidates: CNC Setter and/or Programmer level, capable of producing low volume, small batch, high-precision components.
  • Open To: Experienced CNC Operators who are keen to step up, develop their skills in setting, and learn programming.
  • Key Skills:
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
    • Experience with Fanuc and/or Haas Operating Systems is highly desirable.
    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
    • Strong team player and organisational skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £19.00 per hour, dependent on experience and capability (Setter/Programmer level).
  • Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Standard Working Hours

This is a full-time position with excellent work-life balance, wrapping up early on Fridays:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
