Job Overview

Location & Hours

Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 18:00 | Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Salary: £37,000
Contract: Permanent

Duties
  • Set up, prepare, and operate CNC machinery for drilling, milling, and grinding.
  • Load and prepare raw materials onto machines in accordance with job specifications.
  • Record material usage and time spent on each job accurately.
  • Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams on machine modifications.
  • Support prototype and R&D projects by assisting with development parts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' CNC and manual machining experience.
  • Confident working to mechanical drawings and tight tolerances.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Detail-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality.
