Job Overview

CNC Machinist / Inspector - 12-month contract

Salary: £31p/h + overtime (3 shift)

Location: Renfrewshire

My client is at the forefront of the global aerospace industry and this role lends perfectly for a machinist to have exposure to the wider business, potentially leading to further opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Multi-skilled engineer with ability to use a range of machine tools manufacturing high quality aerospace components.
• General CNC machining, grinding, milling & turning.
• Working on 3-5 axis machines.
• Critique own work undertaking both visually and dimensionally inspecting components.
• Feed back information to Manufacturing Engineer and team.
• Maintain excellent quality standards, being an integral part of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Control system experience.
• Experience in 3- and 5-axis grinding, milling, turning, grinding.
