Job description

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis.

You will receive a great benefit package including Health Insurance, Life Assurance, Cycle to Work and Discount Hub and over-time rates at 1.5x and 2x.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm, Friday 7am - 1pm

Hourly Rate: £17 - £20p/hr

Daily Duties
  • Operate turning machines, lathes and 5 axis machines
  • Follow written procedures and drawings to produce a high-quality product
  • Ensure all work is carried out accurately and to production deadlines
  • Manufacturing wide range of engineering components with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
Candidate Requirements
  • Engineering apprenticeship within a machine shop environment
  • Previous experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
  • Ability to machine products accurately to tight tolerances
  • Driving Licence
