Overview

Are you a CNC Miller who can program online at the machine from a drawing? Do you want to earn up to £20.16 per hour for a days only shift pattern? (£26.81 per hour should you want to work nights). If so, then please read on.

The Basics

• Role: CNC Machinist
• Position: Permanent
• Location: Alfreton
• Shifts choice available: Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm) OR Days & Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm), rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Wed (8.30pm to 7.00am) and Thurs (8.30pm to 6.00am)
• Contracted hours per week: 39hrs
• Pay rates are dependent on experience: Level 1: £16.97 per hour for days and £22.57 per hour for nights Level 2: £17.77 per hour for days and £23.63 per hour for nights Level 3: £18.55 per hour for days and £24.67 per hour for nights Level 4: £19.36 per hour for days and £25.74 per hour for nights Level 5: £20.16 per hour for days and £26.81 per hour for nights
• Overtime: Paid at x1.5
• Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Overview

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Machinist to join the milling section. You will be required to program from a drawing, alongside setting and operating the machines.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate / CNC Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served engineering apprenticeship
• Must have previous CNC Milling experience - programming from drawings online at the machine.
• Be able to program/edit online at the machine - Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Siemens, Fanuc controls all considered.
• Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings

Commutable from: Ilkeston, Ripley, Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
