CNC Programmer/Operator
Location: Hyde, Cheshire
Pay Rate: £17.50-£19.50 per hour

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hunters 4 Staff are assisting our client in Hyde to seek an experienced CNC Programmer and Machine Operator.

Our client are a friendly, family-run precision engineering team who are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to work on sliding head CNC machines (Star with Fanuc control) and fixed head turning machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and programme CNC lathes
• Work from drawings to produce high-quality components in metals and plastics
• Carry out in-process inspections to ensure accuracy

Requirements

• Experience with sliding head CNC lathes (Star ) and Fanuc controls
• Knowledge of fixed head turning (Doosan experience is a plus)
• Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• CNC Turning: 2 years (required)
• Sliding Head and/or multi-axis/multi-turret experience essential
