Overview

Composite Machine Operators - Day, Evening, and Night Shifts

Contract Outside IR35

Location: Lambourn, Berkshire (Membury Airfield)

Duration: Minimum 6 months (potential to extend)

Hours

• Morning shift: 06:00-14:00
• Afternoon shift: 14:00-22:00 (+10-15% allowance)
• Night shift: 22:00-06:00 (+30% allowance)

About the Role

We\'re supporting a world-class composites manufacturer in Berkshire as they expand production to meet growing customer demand. The business is launching additional shifts and is looking for experienced Machine Operators to support operations across CNC, fabric cutting, and pneumatic press work.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machines for composite or aerospace component production
• Operating CNC fabric cutting machinery and pneumatic presses
• Loading/unloading parts and performing dimensional checks
• Completing basic measurement and production paperwork
• Maintaining quality and safety standards across all shift operations

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience operating CNC, press, or cutting machinery (composites or aerospace background ideal)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality processes
• Reliable, steady under pressure, and comfortable working nights or rotating shifts
• Available for a minimum six-month contract

Pay & Allowances (outside IR35)

Indicative hourly rates:

• Days: £17.50-£20.00/hr
• Afternoon shift: +10-15%
• Night shift: +30% (typically £21.00-£24.00/hr depending on skill level)

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
