Temporary to Permanent
Pay rate up to £16.77 per hour

Various Shifts Available:

Rotating Mornings & Afternoons
Week 1: Monday to Friday 05:30 - 14:00 (Early finish on Friday 13:30)
Week 2: Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:30

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 22.30 - 05.30
Friday: 13.00 - 20.30

Do you have experience as a CNC Machine Operator / Continuous Forging?
Have you previously worked in a manufacturing environment?
Do you have a passion for working within the Aerospace industry?

GI Pro are working in partnership with an Aerospace company, based in Thurmaston, who are one of the world's largest manufacturer of aeroplane components for the Aerospace sector.

Our client is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Continuous Forging experts to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain continuous forging equipment.
  • Operate various CNC machines.
  • Adjust machine settings to meet production requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot issues.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to optimise output.
Requirements:
  • Experience in forging or the CNC metalworking processes (continuous forging preferred).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts and in a physically demanding role.
