Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Littlehampton is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operative for their expanding production team. You'll operate CNC machinery to process MDF panels, interpreting technical drawings, ensuring quality, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate has previous CNC experience, strong attention to detail, and good physical fitness. The role offers a pay range of £13.00 to £16.00 per hour, with hours from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operative in the Littlehampton area - available for an immediate start! My client is a leading manufacturer in their industry and they are looking to expand their production team with a skilled and reliable candidate as their demand grows.

Role Overview
As a CNC Machine Operative, you'll play a vital role in the precision cutting and shaping of MDF panels using CNC machinery. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll ensure all components are produced to specification, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • Operate CNC machinery for MDF board processing

  • Interpret technical drawings and production instructions

  • Set up tools and materials for daily production runs

  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards

  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

  • Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet output targets

Requirements:

  • Previous CNC machine experience
  • Good physical fitness due to lifting materials
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of technical drawings

Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Pay: £13.00 to £16.00 per hour depending on experience.
