CNC Laser Operator

Location and Details

Location: Alton, Hampshire, GU34 Postcode

Hours: Late Shift, 1.45pm - 10.15pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Depending on Experience

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Operate Amada Laser Cutting Machine
• Identify, load job/programme, start up, and shut down machine; troubleshoot and clear alarms
• Change laser gas bottle, clean and replace laser tip and lens
• Perform set-ups and changeovers
• Measure parts and perform inspections
• Accurately prepare production records and inspection documentation
• Package completed parts according to their destination
• Maintain the lasers in good working order
• Maintain housekeeping within immediate working area
• Drive a forklift truck and operate overhead crane as required (training can be provided)
