Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder in Worcester to operate cylindrical and universal grinding machines and manufacture high-precision components to tight tolerances in a modern machining environment.

You will edit and optimise CNC programmes using Fanuc controls, interpret engineering drawings, perform quality checks with precision measuring equipment, and support continuous improvement and health & safety initiatives in the machine shop.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC grinding machinery.
• Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding processes.
• Knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Previous experience within a busy manufacturing environment.

Are you an experienced CNC Grinder looking to work with world-class precision engineering products? This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturing business producing complex, high-tolerance components in a modern machining environment.

Working within a skilled engineering team, you'll play a key role in the manufacture of precision-machined components while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence across the department.
