Job summary

A leading high precision component manufacturing firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to set and program machines for prototypes and small to medium batch components. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in CNC operation and the ability to read engineering drawings. This position requires Monday to Friday work, with possible overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience may outweigh formal education.

Responsibilities

• Setting and programming Doosan/ Fixed Head Lathes in the manufacture of prototype and small to medium batch components to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship; however experience is an overriding factor.

Work Hours

The role is Monday to Friday and overtime / additional hours may be required depending on workload of the business.

Compensation

Salary dependent on experience.
