Field Service Engineer - CNC Machine Tool OEM

Location: Field-based - North London & Northern Home Counties

Package: £50,000 - £60,000 + Company Vehicle + Bonuses + Full Benefits

Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring CNC machine tools operate efficiently and reliably. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Breakdown & Maintenance: Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure smooth machine operation
  • Installation & Commissioning: Install and optimise new equipment at customer sites
  • Servicing & Repairs: Address mechanical and electrical issues with precision
  • Customer Support & Training: Advise operators on correct use and maintenance best practices
  • Ongoing Development: Participate in OEM-led training, including international courses and exposure to the latest technologies

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Engineer: Apprentice-trained in mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled engineering

  • Flexible: Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays
