Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + overtime

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Department Supervisor to join the business due to continued growth. You will oversee CNC operations within the joinery workshop, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee CNC machining of parts according to production schedules and specification
  • Plan and organise jobs by reviewing work orders, drawings, materials, and tooling requirements
  • Analyse drawings and blueprints to calculate dimensions, select tools, and set appropriate machine speeds and feeds
  • Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometres and callipers, to inspect work
  • Ensure CNC programmes meet production requirements and quality standardsReview systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintain adherence to ISO quality and environmental management processes
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained within the CNC department
  • Support the Production Manager and Planner with other duties as required
About You
  • Experienced in setting and operating CNC routers within a joinery or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a team
