Searley Owen is seeking an experienced CAM/CNC professional in Chelmsford to join a rapidly growing manufacturing tech company. The role blends CAM programming, demonstrations and content creation, moving away from traditional production machining.

You will program milling applications, demonstrate software, and produce technical videos and tutorials that showcase machining advantages to customers and the industry.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC milling and CAM programming background.
• Good understanding of tooling, workholding and machining strategies.
• Experience within 5-axis machining.

Responsibilities

• Programming CNC milling applications using CAM software.
• Demonstrating CNC/CAM software and milling strategies.
• Creating and presenting technical videos, tutorials and demonstrations.
• Explaining complex machining concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Developing machining examples to showcase software capabilities.
• Preparing tooling, workholding and machines for demonstrations/filming.
• Collaborating with technical and marketing teams.
