Job description
Brake Press - Setter/Operator

As a CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator within the fabrication department, you will be required to operate a Bystronic press brake, produce, set up and correct press break programs. You should also have the ability to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets. The successful applicant must have proven experience working on press brakes.

  • Lead safety as a mindset demonstrated by immediately escalating and responding to any concerns,

Duties
  • Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets
  • Identify and label parts to send to next production stage
  • Maintain high quality products
  • Operate a Bystronic press brake
  • Produce, setup and correct press brake programs
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner
  • FLT advantageous
  • Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations
  • Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in own area.
  • Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully.
