Rubicon Recruitment Group is hiring a Production Operative (CNC Trainee) in Salisbury, offering a £12.71 per hour rate. You will receive full training from day one and gradually move onto CNC routers as your skills grow, with weekends off and regular weekday hours.

No CNC experience is required; what matters most is reliability, comfort with computers and a proactive approach to learning how machines and processes work. This is a long-term, structured opportunity.

Qualifications

• No CNC experience required; reliability and comfort with computers are valued.
• Willing to learn and understand how things work.
• Background in manufacturing, production or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate factory machinery and equipment safely and accurately
• Use hand tools and packaging materials during the production process
• Complete production paperwork accurately for each works order
• Read and understand basic drawings and specifications
• Progress onto CNC routers, learning how the computer-based controls and machine settings work
• Keep your work area clean, organised and up to standard
